next syd meet?

Postby sundayDriver » Tue Jun 24, 2008 1:39 pm

Has this idea died??

I'll be in Sydney on the weekend of the 19/20th July, so I'm in if it's happening.

But NSW winter school holidays runs from the 7th July to the 18th July, so I guess it'd be double demerit points up to midnight (?) on the sunday (20th).

Sorry guys. I havent been able to confirm yet that theres nothing on at the mountain.

I think that the date will be the 20th July.

And from what I can tell by the thread, there seems to be very little interest.

So based on the tentative date being the 20th july, all those interested PM me so I can establish numbers.

Cheers

lol nobody wants to stepup to the plate..

how bout we make a new thread just for the NEW meetup. naming a time, place and plans.. nothing crazy like a drive to newcastle or anything cause most people don`t have the time.

and to make things easy.. for everyone lets take down some ideas?

firstly a time.. wots the best time for a meet thats conveniant for everyone?

Not all gatherings need to be well thought out and organised properly. Just keep it nice and simple, sort of like how tangcla does. Pick an impromptu place and time at the last minute and whoever shows up, shows up.

For example this Saturday (August 2nd) at 2:30 PM at Homebush. You may not get a large number due to the short notice, but there's bound to be a few that have spare time and will show up.

Jim

I agree, simple, with little planning does get more pepople showing up.

we should start a thread in the members section for listing contact numbers

Anyone can read the members section as soon as they register.
The off-topic forum is actually safer, you don't get in there until you've made a few posts :)
