Mmmmm, not looking promising if you ask me.

Location seems to be a bit up in there air. If we can lock down a location I'm sure more people will get excited.

So come on guys? Where we going to put it on?

Maybe we should just meet somewhere central & go for a bit of a cruise. Anywhere that we pass that looks the goods we could just stop, take a few pics & move on. I'm bloody keen to make a afternoon / night out of it.

hey guys...

I'd definitley be interested in this...$30 is fine with me.

For location, may I suggest Blues Point Reserve (McMahons Point)? It's 2 mins away from luna park along the harbour foreshore right on the water. It's a vantage point for NYE fireworks. You get a great view of the harbour bridge & opera house & CBD from there. There is a car park there where we can all line up our cars with a great backdrop of the harbour & CBD in the background. (Do a search in google maps to see the location)

The carpark has little lighting (from memory), and most of the lighting will come from the harbour behind us. Only problem with this location is that we'll have to get there fairly early, to secure the parking spots along the foreshore to do the photoshoot, as it can get quite busy there in evenings. (there is plenty of parking there, but we want prime position on the water)

Great place to chill out & we could also have a bbq there as well (can't recall whether there is an actual bbq facility), but there are other facilities there with benches, shelter, toilets etc...anyone got a bbq?

From there we can also cruise over to Kirribilli, or Toronga Zoo, Balmoral etc afterwards...wherever the mood of the night takes us.

That's my 2 cents worth....hopefully we can tee something up soon, as time is fast approaching.

Cars coming past with headlights would ruin the photos.
He needs to leave the shutter open for about a minute at a time, and any bright passing light will destroy the effect, so it needs to be fairly secluded...
That's why I suggested the wharehouse earlier. A large enclosed space where you could turn the lights off would be perfect.

More like four minutes for big group shots ;)

Aside from the cars driving past problem at Blues Point Reserve, isn't that where the cops bust a lot of people for car mods etc?

I seriously think we should just meet somewhere like P6 at Homebush & go from there. I'm sure there would be a few good places around that area & if we all feel like going for a cruise down to Nasho etc (My fingers are crossed) well we can do that. As I said, I think Stanwell tops would be a great place to do a shoot.

Umm, the only other thing we haven't thought about is what happens if the weather is crap? That warehouse that Ric suggested might be best if rain starts falling.

In that case, if someone here owns the warehouse, we could ask to have the lights off, right?

I have a warehouse, but it sadly doesn't have enough room to do some nice group shots. Single shots could work alright though

Rick, where is the place you suggested exactly?

Who is "Norm"? Apparently it is his warehouse.
