From what I know, I think you'll need a license to get the Wakefield license mate :(

But if you can find someone to trailer or drive you car down, I'll most definitely confirm that you can drive on the day :)

Not neccessarily. You don't need a road licence to get a CAMS 2S licence.

I thought it was CAMS 2NS that you did need a license for???

Either way, that looks promising for Noozl! :D

So who has a tow bar & is willing to trailer down Noozl's car so he can run? :D

"2NS" is a non-speed licence. You're not allowed onto a racetrack with one of those. They're just for motorkhanas and road rallies.

Licence types are described on page 9 here: http://www.camsmanual.com.au/pdf/09_gen ... s_Q309.pdf

I know all about what you can do with a 2NS license. You'd be proud of me Ric! :) I used to hold one when I was a associate member of the MG Club NSW 8)

Just so everyone is aware :D A few of us are looking at staying down there on Friday night.

I'm sure after a full day of hard driving we are going to be rather tired, so we figured finding some cheap accomodation for the night may be a good idea... That way we can have a nice meal, a few drinks & of course talk BS about the day :D

So if anyone is keen on staying down there also, make yourself known & I can give you the details of where we are looking at staying etc.
