I am now down as an observer. I would be happy to take pictures or any other jobs that need to be done on the day.

I will also try and bring a lipstick cam, a video camera and a car mount (professional grippy thing that mounts in a car) as well. We might be able to get some cool angles. :)

Are there any plans to meet somewhere in Sydney and cruise down there?

Hi All

The track day is fast approaching :D

Thank you to those that have already paid in full :D

At this point in time I have set the price at $294.00 (Based on 15 people minimum attending). Of course, the more people we have driving on the day, the cheaper the track fees will be for all. Rest assured any extra funds will be refunded to you on the day in cash or via EFT shortly after the day.

In regards to the optional extras, I have had a fair amount of people interested in the driving instructor, however very few interested in timing. As mentioned previously these optional extra costs will be split evenly between those interested, however unless we have approx 10 people or more interested in each extra, I fear the costs will be too high to justify.

I’m working on securing Ian Dyk as the driving instructor. Should know is availability & final costs tonight :D If Ian Dyk is unavailable, I do have several other options in regards to driving instructors :D

I will be posting an updated master list soon, but please, if you have not paid your track fees, please make your payments ASAP. I will be paying Wakefield prior to our arrival.

Thanks for your cooperation guys & gals :D

Cheers
Matt

Hi All!

It's starting to get to crunch time :scare2:

I endeavour to keep info up to date in this thread, so keep an eye out

At this point in time, I will need to receive funds / confirmation no later then Friday 7th August. The main reason for this is that should we have 20 cars or more, an ambulance will be required (Wakefield requires at least 1 week notice to organise this).

If you have any questions or queries regarding the track day, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers
Matt

Heya Matt, so on the day, basically it will be capped off at 20 cars?

If that's the case, how much per drive if 20 cars rocked up?

I'm very excited about the day :D Can't wait to finally hit the track & WASABI & best thing of all... It'll be with some of my mates :D

Yes, ambulance does cost money to have sadly. Will have to double check my notes, but I think Smythie got it right at a rate of $550.

Technically I'm not capping the day in terms of numbers, but I am hopeful we will have around the 20 - 25 cars on the day as a maximum. I will genuinely be shocked should we get more then this confirmed.

Here are a few costs based on the higher numbers:

15 Cars = $294.00 + Wakefield License (This is the minimum costs I have set)

19 Cars (Maximum without requiring an ambulance) = $232.00 + Wakefield License

20 Cars (Ambulance required for 20 cars or more) = $248.00 + Wakefield License

25 Car = $198.00 + Wakefield License

Wakefield License = $50.00 (1 Year) or $20.00 (1 Day) - If you currently hold a Wakefield License or a CAMS 2S License, you do not need to purchase.

As you can appreciate, until the day (Or the week of the day) I cannot truly confirm the cost per person. Thus why I have set the maximum price based on 15 cars... Should less then 15 cars be confirmed, then the extra cost will be at my expense  .

In short, all things being equal, I will be refunding some money's to everyone involved thus making it a cheaper day for all :D (Fingers crossed). Rest assured, I have no interest in profiting from this event. I just want to make sure everyone has a great time :D Everyone will be paying the same, with no exceptions... Just trying to keep everything nice & fair 8)

As mentioned previously, I need to receive payment ($294.00) from all those wanting to attend this meet no later then Friday 7th. This is so an ambulance can be organised (If need be) & so Wakefield can be paid prior to our arrival (As requested by Wakefield Park Raceway). I've been trying to remain as flexible as possible, however given the overall cost of this event plus rules & regulations set by Wakefield Park Raceway, I can not afford to take any risks.

Cheers
