you can buy a track license for wakefield on the day which lasts a year. If you want to get a CAMS license you first need to be a member of a CAMS registered motorsports club. Once your a member of a motorsports club you can apply for and by your CAMS licence.

Hi All

Sorry, haven't been on the forums much lately. Will update the attendee list shortly & will be shooting off my bank account details for the deposit payments - Remember, unless you've paid your deposit, your spot has not been secured.

No, you do not need a CAMS License for the day. BUT, you will need to purchase a Wakefield License (Which is now only available as a 1 year - $50.00 - AASA License). This is still the cheapest way to hit the track & works out to be good value if you intend to visit Wakefield multiple times during the year.

If you want a CAMS license (Generally $100 per year) you will need to join a CAMS affiliated car club. I would suggest JSCC as their membership fees are damn cheap (Approx $95 for 3 years, including one off admin fee) then you will be able to apply for yours CAMS license. IMHO, if you are intended to visit the track on a regular basis, attend motokahna events, hill climb events, super sprints etc then having your CAMS license will be a massive advantage.

^^^

Full payment isn't required until 4-6 weeks out from the event (Which is when Wakefield required payment in full).

Deposits are being taken now (Non-refundable) & that is required to secure your spot.

If you need any more info feel free to PM me.

PS - It's one of our member's B'day the day before as well, so I dare say the Friday night could be bigger then ever!!! ;)

Cheers
