Sorry Rod, I'll be unavailable too. Work has me in the Melbourne CBD around midday tomorrow and by Saturday morning I'll either be semi comatose in bed after driving all night or on the way from an over night stop (and timing will mean I wouldn't be able to meet up with the Canberra guys on their run north anyway I suspect)

edit - just realised the 25th is Sunday. I'll see what happens but suspect I'll be proof reading assignments for Audrey. I'll try though

I think that we might just pull the pin on this. The weather is looking pretty bad for Sunday, especially up in the mountains where we are going. Whilst the roads aren't bad, they really aren't that much fun to be on when it's pissing down.

All the guys from Canberra have pulled out and a number of the Sydney crew have as well. I think the change of date screwed this up from the beginning - in hindsight I should have canceled it. That has resulted in the vibe for the day being pretty poor, so that is yet another reason to can it.

The route is a great drive, and I'm will plan another opportunity to do it in the near future. I will also try and be a little less busy and drum up some more support for the new date.
