Tried this even tried a different Burner program and Two different types of disks still no good

What's the issue, do you have the original software disc?
It has to be loaded before using the updated maps disc...

Don't think so I think the car came with a burnt disk already in it

right, so your stock nav never worked or crapped out after battery reset?

if so you need the original disc to reboot the maps and software plus updated maps.

If you are in Melb PM me, if not I'll have to upload it all somehow... ;)
