Hi John, have you planned a route yet?

Wondering if I have time to make a stop at the Joondalup CBD to get the wifey and skwid (if the little one is not yet awake when I leave in the morning for Fraser Pt) and then join back the cruise.

Edit: An idea, maybe make a stop at the Joondalup City Council carpark to regroup (SE corner of Boas and Davidson, practically empty on Sundays)

Could be a good interim pitstop for some of the north guys, so we don't have to drive down to Frasers for 30 mins and then back up the freeway again..

I'm coming from south but happy to stop for a bit (let the kids hop out, stretch legs and give me n wifey a slight break from, "are we there yet?, are we there yet?, are we there yet?, are we there yet?").

Hi Ian, Haven't done a route yet as the run to Lancelin is fairly straight forward. Was going to give out directions on Sunday.
More than happy to have a stop in Joondalup as you suggested. We can go down the Freeway and off at Shenton Ave. Then back on the same way. 10am to 10.20am at the Car Park corner Boas and Davidson is that suitable???

Joondalup would actually be more suitable for me as I have to pick a friend up as well. 10am? Sleep in. Awesome! Jokes. Body clock hates me, come at me 6:30am

More than suitable. I think our President's brother is hoping to meet up there too. There's also a dome cafe across the road from the carpark for those that need caffeine. I'm hopefully going to be at Fraser Pt in the morning anyway.

Also, exiting at Hodges Dr might be better, the lights are green for a bit longer along there.

Everyone note that there is a red light camera at the corner of Hodges and Joondalup Dr, and a red light + speed camera on corner of Shenton & Joondalup Dr

At the next lights turn left onto Wanneroo Road and Lancelin here we come.
