Shouldn't be a problem, I work in the city, can just rock up at the meet point after work.

This is also true. Always cars in there, so there is no chance of getting a spot.

Meet time would still be 6:45pm.
From memory Fraser Point is pretty empty by that time. Can anyone who works in the City confirm this please?
