JUNE NIGHT CRUISE - Friday 14th June 2013

Just an Idea for the starting point!

^^ Where I shot this video after the few opening segments.

That carpark is in the CBD and from the few times that I've been there at night it's deserted. It's right next to the tunnel very well lit so everyone can scope eachothers cars.

But sometimes James they put those stupid bollards up...
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

James is talking about the inside car park. It's in that big shed, next to the open carpark. From his video it looks like a good place for a photoshoot

I've been there on two Friday nights and the only thing that has changed is they turn the lights off at 9pm, at which point we would all be out of there anyway?

Ahhh... Do you think it's still 'open'? Coz that area of town does look pretty dead as mentioned and could be bordered up etc.

James, do you miss your Liberty? Hahah! Also when does Adam come back?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it serves as a city car park until 9pm, which is why they would have shut off the lights about then. If someone was around that way tonight maybe they could scope it out since our meet and greet would be on a Friday evening.

ahah sort of miss my lib. Prob would have kept it if it was a wagon, Forester is serving its purpose perfectly.

Racked up 20,000kms on it this year :S and it's a weekend car haha my south trips are killing the kms

I'm happy to meet at the little 24hr car park just over the causeway on riverside , as I can't stand driving in the city!

I will check it out tonight. You don't have to drive through the city to get to it anyone coming from north exit at james st, anyone coming from east through tunnel exit at james st and any from kwinanna fwy exit charles and go round the block.
Its a good start posi

Also, United across the road has 100 Octane there. That's right, 100 Octane. :)

I like the idea of the little shed carpark, from James's video looks awesome!!!

Although I have done none of my planned mods for this cruise, really looking forward to a gander at everyone else's cars :)
mod -> tune -> drive -> get bored -> repeat...

ok. I'll modify the map tonight and post it up for this 'new' meet point if we use it. Everyone is wanting a tunnel run so we may end up doing a bit of a circle to start off

Work/transfer here for offshore work life balance.

No car yet. My patrol is on the train coming over but i reckon ill sell it. HQ ute with turbo 1uz is a few months off. Seriously considering dirty RS or GT here as a daily.

And here's the route if it's decided to start off at James Street Car Park, Northbridge: http://goo.gl/maps/hzbnk

Stop A: James Street Indoor Car Park (Directly opposite Mitre 10) - Meet Point
Stop B: Karrinyup Shopping Centre (Upstairs Car Park, entry next to Hungry Jacks)
Stop C: E-Shed Markets
Stop D: Rockingham Beach (For those who don't leave at E-Shed)
