REXPO 2009.
To be held once again in conjunction with the Autotrader Race day @ Barbagallo Raceway on Sunday 17th May 2009.
Gates open 7am and all REXPO entrants must be there by 10am to avoid congestion in the pit areas. Entrants are required to stay until 4pm for safety reasons. You may be permitted to leave earlier, but will require permission to do so.
Price:
$10 per car for people who wish to show and shine their car only.
$20 per car for people wishing to enter their car in the judging categories below(damn cheap for a car show, it normally costs that per person just to watch). This means that you are eligible for trophies and prizes.
We have been booked in for a parade lap of around 20-30 vehicles during the lunch-time break.
Looking to break our own record from last year of 128 cars. Hoping for 150+ which should be achievable with your support so spread the word.

Other attractions include:
a full day of racing with categories from historic touring cars through to improved production and a staggered race at the end with winners from the various categories. Access to pit area (this costs extra at the V8's and lets you get close up and have a look at the cars/chat with the drivers)

We are also looking at inviting other car clubs along for a display and making it a larger show (with the focus being on Subaru's of course and REXPO). There have been expressions of interest from the Monaro club at the moment, so I guess we could include the EVO boys. I personally would love to see a whole collection of Subaru off-road vehicles come along from the other Subaru clubs.
If we have enough interest, we may even factor in a trophy for the best non-Subaru.
