Anyone headed down Maroondah Highway to get to Healesville, there is a mini meet happening at the Croydon McDonalds on Maroondah highway, if anyone can make it just post here.
The meet time is 7am at the Maccas to make it to the cruise meet spot before the 8am start. (should be less than 40 mins to Healesville)

So far it's just me and Jim (TeK-) and hopefully my mate in the R32 golf if he gets the time off approved (damn police force!)

Anyone else is welcome to join us, but be punctual otherwise you will be travelling alone We don't like waiting.

7am Start.

ANy idea which direction you might want to drive? I might go via warrandyte to yarra glen direction - a bit longer, but lots of fun! Still happy to meet up before hand though

I'm actually out in the Warrandyte area, just driving to Maroondah highway as I know Jim would be coming from that way.
I'm more than happy to lead the way out the back of Warrandyte through the twistys if anyone is interested in doing that, otherwise we can just highway cruise.

Having said that it will be pretty early in the morning and might take an extra 20 mins of driving if we go the longer route, so people might not be keen on doing any real driving until they have woken up properly once we get to the Healsville meet up spot.

I will see what I am up to the night before then, but the early morning is exactly why driving the twisties is ideal ! no traffic.

7am meet is pretty generous if (Googlemaps) reckons 40mins to Healesville meet point. I have found that the travel time is grossly over estimated most of the time so we may in actuality take 30mins or less to get to Healesville.

I'm happy to meet at 7:15 or even push it to 7:30 as long as everyone can be on time.

EDIT: Just re-read meet thread it's 8am depart. OK so we'll meet at Maccas at 7 then

We will be taking Maroondah Hwy all the way through to the Healsville turn off, so don't worry we won't be taking any back roads early in the morning as there might be ice on the roads at that time.

Also just sayin....a 'maybe' at this point really isn't going to cut it, don't wanna be waiting for someone who isn't planning on turning up.

We have a pretty good pre-cruise meet going considering the numbers going to the actual cruise....5 so far (bennygsr is 95% coming with us I just wanted to double check with him in PM's).
