Are any of you guys from Cranbourne way (other meet thread) going to be heading up via Maroondah Hwy? We should get a double pre-meet happening!

The Outer South East pre-meet point is on the Sth Gippy freeway, at a truck stop just short of the merge with the Monash. If we leave there at 6:30am, we will arrive at Healesville at 7:30am. Just in time for coffee and croisant! Not planning to stop for further meets as we will run out of time.

Thanks for your work organising the cruise, Ric and Mark (and whoever else helped out!)

Was a good day (despite the rain) and was great that nobody came to grief on the corners!
I really enjoyed going up to the top of Mt Donna Buang to go up in the snow, as myself and Jason haven't seen any decent snow since back in highschool Didn't hurt that a bunch of locals decided to come to the adjacent car park and do doughnuts in their bush basher utes either.

Mark and Jim and I were talking about when we can have the next cruise, and Mark suggested Australia day long weekend (Jan 26 2011) so I guess a new thread is in order pretty soon.

Hopefully someone took some decent photos (Ric?) of the cars at the Beechworth Bakery BEFORE we headed off up that gravel road and got mud all over our cars, I think I only took about 2 photos and gave up as I couldn't stand to see our cars in such bad shape

John and Clive how come you two never showed up? I hope nothing was wrong...

Sorry guys i just got home. Had to spend the night at hospital thanks to a lovely meal i had yesterday.

Na no chains, that picture of the snow road was the road that was blocked off at the top of Mt Donna Buang to get to the summit, I guess Andy took some pics of it when he walked up.

Looked like an alright day. If there's another cruise during the summer I should be up for it. Haven't been on a lib cruise since the big one up to get buxston burgers.
