Darren, your absence has been noted!

Talking today about a Baw Baw run in January. Unless anyone is keen to do one before then? Maybe we start a poll (Ric?) Either before Xmas or after or both?

Mark I have thought of the perfect solution to our BBQ woes.

A BBQ day sometime in December, perhaps even at Mt Donna Buang / Maroondah reservoir, and focus more on the BBQ and less on the cruise so people can have a good hour or two to sit down and chat and get to know each other better.
Maybe just a drive from Healsville to Marysville and back to Maroondah reservoir for the BBQ?

Would be nice to have a lunch where half the people attending don't leave as soon as we arrive at the lunch destination!

Then we can have a Baw Baw run in January?

Good to see all the regulars and new faces, good turnout and some pretty good driving considering weather.

3 things I would have changed:

1. Not stay up late last night watching a movie that I didn't even finish.
2. Organise the in-car camera mount earlier so it would have arrived by today.
3. Woken up an hour earlier to fix the slightly dragging FR caliper (see #1).

John: That's some real bad luck mate, hope you're on the mend soon! We thought maybe the Westgate was closed for roadworks ;)

November's pretty full for me but in December may be a good idea for us to have some sort of Xmas social event; dinner at Hogsbreath or something like that?

Yeah I actually like that idea better Jim, a good feed and just a casual cruise on the way home from somewhere in the suburbs.
No gravel roads that way...right Mark?

Thanks for a good day today guys, really good to meet you all & check out your rides.
The drive was great, I hadn't been up to MDB before & the spirited part of the run was quite exciting I thought.
Loads of fun!
Sorry to have been one of the ones who bailed pre-lunch [Kieran], just had quite a bit to squeeze into our Sunday.

Baw Baw does sound good, it's a good winding road heading up there, I've only ever done it in winter but can imagine it
being a great drive having traction for once.

Andy, Great photos mate, good work.

No problems Rick, we just made fun of all the people who left early while we soaked up the sun outside eating our meals at the Beechworth Bakery

You might be interested (and the minister of finance might be even more interested) in that those prices I quoted you for the rims and tyres are a little dated and may have gotten lower from Tyrepower(Wheelpower), and I believe Tempe Tyres who is also selling the same bulk items is even cheaper
Refer to the thread for more info / call up Tempe and Tyrepower.

Good to see some of the new members along. Bah what I am talking about, I'm still new myself, but I just don't feel new. Maybe it's from my near 1000 posts of garbage that make me feel like a long time member.

As for pictures, I know Ric took quite a few and he seems to get some pretty decent ones.
I took some fairly good ones on the last cruise, but like I said I didn't have the heart to etch into history photos of our Libs covered in mud, so this time I left it to the people with the SLR's.

A little off topic, but a few people asked me about HID's on the cruise, and if anyone is interested I know a guy who knows a guy....aka hks180 (Leo) who can hook you up and I may be able to save you a few dollars as well 8)

I can also install them for anyone who wants them and isn't comfortable working on such things, or doesn't have the time / patience to learn all the ins and outs. Preferably I would like it to be done at my house of course (so I don't have to lug around all my tools) but I'm happy to travel to spend some time with fellow club members. Don't worry I don't charge...well maybe petrol money if I have to travel and a six pack for goodwill, but I enjoy doing the lights. Think of me as the display home of car lights in Melbourne, I'm always upgrading and changing mine around, so if you have any queries feel free to send me a PM.
