What are the other requirements (helmet, scrutineering, fire extinguisher, etc). Does one need a club sponsor for the one day membership/event?

I might see if I can attend the 5 Sep meet for a look see, with a view to participate in teh Oct event (if that is open for Libs).

Re: the hillclimb at Rob Roy this coming sunday.

There will be a "familiarisation run" at about 9:30am on the day.
This is done at about 3/4 speed, about ten cars at a time, and you can take passengers. If you're up well before then, I can take you for a run up the hill. No helmet etc. required.
Otherwise the timed runs start about 10:00
