Next VIC cruise. 10-10-10 / 17-10-10 ?

Ok. Whilst everyone is still enthused, we should start planning the next one!

We deferred a run through Fernshaw because of worries about snow etc.
That was starting at Healsville, and finishing at Maroondah Reservoir. Only about 1:13 according to Google Maps.
Totally different suggestions are welcome too.

We also need a date. Today was 08-08-10, and 10-10-10 has a nice ring to it, and is also a Sunday.
How would that suit everyone?

Only one problem... And some on here might think it's a load of crap, but Bathurst (V8's) is on that day... My world stops for that race.

Everything is up for discussion, including the date.
Mention was made of having a bbq on Donna Buang. The problem with having lunch mid run is you're going to strike traffic by then.

It's also a pretty short run, so may need to be extended up to Msrysville, back through Reefton etc.

Must admit though, did not know 10/10 was Bathurst, otherwise would not have suggested it. But then this new technology stuff, I can just set the TIVO to Record and watch it when I get home!

Aw c'mon, you can't watch 12 hours of V8's when you get back after a cruise like the one proposed...

I don't wanna miss the cruise so I'd like to propose to move it to the weekend of 16/17 Oct. (I wanna do both!)

And teK - stubbies, snags, few mates, nice weather, talking about cars and watchin the V8's... What more could I want??
