VIC Cruise. Aug-8. Mill Park-Kinglake-Healesville

I'm starting a fresh topic to guage interest in the cruise we've been discussing here.
The one date no-one has objected to is Sunday Aug-8
The draft proposed route is here
Meet at 7:30 for an 8am start. Any later and you'll be stuck behind slow cars on the drive.

So, does the above suit you. It's not too late for other suggestions, but the date has to be nailed down early.

Notes:
Start is in a Bunnings carpark, which should be pretty empty at 8am on a Sunday. There's a 24 hour McCafe only a few hundred metres away.
Morning tea is in Kinglake.
Finish is in Healesville for lunch.

7am! But that means I would have to get up at 5.30

I spoke to my mate with the R32 and provided he doesn't get rostered by the coppers for night/day shift he will come in his golf.

Ah, this sucks!!! i'm going to be up at Perisher that weekend...

I was hanging for a drive day, o well next 1. Have fun guys im sure it will be a great day, i would def leave no later than 8 as traffic will be a problem.
i do a similar run with some guys at work every 2 weeks or so, since lake mt is open and in full swing its a fav for familys and lane hoggers!

on a plus side some kind person has put spray paint markings on the road to indicate where poilce sit in the trees with radar guns, as they are now in full force up there

Keen to see the R32 if he can make it, they are one of my all time favorite cars . Also no problem with speeding many roads are limited to 80 which is more than enough for the twisties when driving in a group.

Count me in please. I like the 8am start, but will need to arrive by 7:30am just to enjoy the coffee and muffin prior to the start!

Let's just hope nobody else there is going to try and do some FUND raising of their own....ahem coppers
But I'm totally up for that fundraiser thing that is a fantastic idea! count me in for that one

Oh also sentinel I'm going to be spending the entire time at our stops looking at your car, just so you know!
