Yeah rain is a lesser worry now with this car, but definitely fallen leaves in autumn or gravel on the roads up there can cause for some OH SHIT moments when you come out of a corner to see a patch on the road and risk sliding out ;)

I've also had some small branches/large twigs flicked up from the car in front and they can make a really loud bang on the windscreen as well.

Oh, and who was complaining about rain? Last October I came down the Reefton in rain and bark and twigs and shit. Was a fantastic drive. No sarcasm, it was great fun

That would be me. The tires my car came with are HORRIBLE in the wet. No grip at all. Im waiting till my new wheels come in to get new tires so till then, easy does it in the wet.

Sounds like you lot had a great drive, shame I couldn't make it.

Social calendar has been a little nuts and I originally didn't put a hand up for this as the car was going to be going into the workshop for body repairs (see my bingle thread). Just got it back yesterday after dropping it off monday.

So... When's the next one ;)
