if you host a private track day, you don't need to be a CAMMS affiliated club...

How possible would it be to organise our own track day for the Libs ?
Hey Lukey mate,
See you parked at Sandown nearly everyday lol, didn't think you were part of the forums so never posted you up on the "Spotted" Thread.
And Ric, how much is the yearly fee?
Which is pretty much how the Wakefield track day that swingn organised happened from what I understandoverl0ad wrote:if you host a private track day, you don't need to be a CAMMS affiliated club...

Hi all, from conversations at car wash there seems to be some interest in a Winton day in November. Seeing OTR has been cancelled and Tampered run a day with 85 cars, I think the next best thing would be one of the Test & Tune days on Friday. So I'm proposing either the 6th or 20th of November.
November is a good time because it gets a bit hot from December - February and I really, really want to see how my new suspension setup and diff work out...
Positives
- Relatively few cars
- Plenty of track time, as there are 30 minute sessions switched between cars and bikes (on the 6th it's cars ONLY)
- Cheaper than a track day
- No scrutineering
Negatives
- BYO lap timing
- Some fierce cars rock up sometimes and you need to share the track with them
Details
$120 entry fee, gates open at 8am, practice from 10am to 4:30pm. New Winton rule is that AASA or CAMs will be required for test & tune, AASA can be purchased on the day.

...it's a day run by Winton, using the term "run" fairly loosely here as there is no real organization save for them calling the start and finish of each session. Also note no ambulances ... think of it as a "Track Day Lite"
