If you push the amp too hard it will start clipping though and send straight DC to the spkrs instead of an AC waveform. This = bad.

Well yeah sorta... if you push the amp too much you'll start clipping the signal, which means that there will be extended sections of full signal, which will mean full load for the speaker driver, and that can result in overheating very quickly.

The amp I have = too much powar! I will most likely have the gains really low anyway. :)

I got 3.5 sheets left (bought up some of the leftovers haha) because I intend on doing the rears at some point in time after my cbfness has worn off.
