so... GOR cruise... It's 80km/h most of the way but great if the traffic keeps moving... followed a bunch back from lorne one day... musta been regulars or something coz they were winding nicely. can almost just put the cruise on and just steer

mind you... some of the roads in the back further round (peterborough, port campbell, etc) are nuts... some good photo ops can be had at cape otway... can't get that close to the coast edge though for nice ocean shots, but along the GOR there are some great spots.

Will,

Sounds good! there are heaps places that we can go to and as u say the roads were just awesome to drive unless ur following some 'responsible' people lol. Damn our melbournites should go somewhere soon!

There is some awesome roads out the back. Almost worth missing part of the 'commercialised' GOR and heading for the lower section of the road then heading back in land. Problem is, I've got no idea of where the good roads where - I was lost at the time and just enjoyed myself... Ended up in Colac!

I might have a convo with my old man - in the BMW bike club and a member of Ulysses club - so he should know of quite a few nice back roads. you never know... we might be able to hook up with some other boxers and have a nice day of it :D
