Anyone around the mornington peninsula?

Plenty of good drives to be had, arthurs seat, boneo road

Flinders - boneo rd to rosebud should be turned into a driving competition. Shut it down for a weekend to compete, kinda like a hill climb. Would be sweet!!!

I am up for a drive. I am at Lyndhurst but enjoy the drive down that way. A Saturday or Sunday afternoon would suit me.

Hi Sentinel,

Have not heard from 3specB, but willing to meet up one Saturday or Sunday arvo for a cruise.

I quite like the drive down to Flinders and across the Boneo Road to Rosebud. Also from Hastings across Arthurs Seat and down to Dromana. All good country and scenery.

Would wlecome a cruise in that area or just to meet for a coffee at a given location, then decide the cruise from there.

Hey Mark - just lopped into the Melb cruise thread - looks like Ric will be arranging something when he gets his car back. Might be worth talking to him about the locations you're talking about. Sounds nice a bloody drive to me! Otherwise, yeah, def. up for a meet one Sat! Polish up the girl, cruise, coffee - sounds good.

I live on the mornington peninsula in rye and ive just joined the forums last week and introduced my self.
I've just brought an my06 3.0r-b and love driving the curvey roads here specialy arthurs seat i'v done 1000ks in the last week and just loving it. would be good to meet up with some of you guys if you head down this way. I'm always up for a drive.

Guys,

Ric has a lot on his mind with organising mugs and t-shirts along with running this forum, so I suggest we just hit this thread the day before we want to cruise and just do it. Open to all attendees.

Whoever posts the date/time is also responsible for the route and stops. That way we can bag your choice or sing your praises afterwards!

So, first up, I propose a "meet and greet" this Sunday afternoon for a car wash and wax at:

I will be there from 2pm, sipping on coffee and reading the March issue of Top Gear Australia in the coffee shop (outdoors partition). And if anyone cares to join me, well we could plan a cruise for next time.

I do not get any kick backs btw, just stumbled across this place and tried it about 3 weeks ago. Did a good job and you can really get carried away if you want some special treatment for your baby!

Hi Mark,

I've just managed to get onto the forums... Sorry I missed the thread - I've just rooted my lower back on Friday morning at work thus I haven't managed to do anything other than lying on my back staring at the ceiling vents and downlights. Man - it sucks!! Never thought I'd realise that the ducts needed cleaning, but that won't happen for months till I sort this back out.

Oh, back on thread, sorry I missed the catchup - definitely would have come!! Did anyone else turn up?

My subi is sitting in the garage beautifully polished up waiting to go too! Dunno when I'll be able to drive again though...

Thanks for taking the initiative to arrange a catch up.

You are more than welcome to join our adventure. We just need to get organised, so I will propose another 3pm car wash or coffee today (Monday, ( 9 March) as the first point of contact. I will be there at 3pm regradless of anyone else can or cannot make it and then we can plan our tour and discuss timing and dates.
