It wasn't all that long ago (for the old blokes ) when those times involved a car that needed to be trailered to and from the track.

I remember speaking to someone who gave up modifying cars after he witnessed a trailered race car get owned by a red P plater in his supercharged commodore, that he drove to and from home.
All the trailered cars during my visit ran 8s and a lot of the street driven ones ran low-mid 10s. Just awesome (jaw dropping) to watch in person!
