club.liberty Docklands Meet

Postby Matazlin » Mon May 19, 2014 12:43 am

**EDITED**

With the last meeting in 2013, I felt the VIC group was in dire need of some sort of get together. This is my first time planning a meet like this so if anyone has any suggestions on a different location to the ones picked out below, feel free to share :) Plans are flexible but will be settled on at a later date. I will also be making an event on the club.liberty Facebook page.

The Details:

Date: 12th July 2014 (12.7.2014)

Time: 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Place: Due to unpredictability of Melbourne's weather, it'll be at the Docklands multi-storey carpark (89 Waterfront Way, Docklands)

Note:
From previous experience, the best way into this carpark is via Footscray Road, however this may vary depending if you use Citylink etc. Also, this carpark is pay per entry, $7 for 1-4 hours. Ensure you pay before you leave. Hopefully the benefit of cover and guaranteed lighting outweighs the entry fee :)

As usual guys, absolutely NO hooning/stupid behaviour. Don't give the police a reason to show up :(

Hopefully I'll see all most of you guys, it'd be nice to put faces to some names on this site.

**UPDATE**

For those who aren't on the event page on FB, the current event date has been shifted a week forward to the 12th of July instead of the 5th, mainly due to work on my part and a few small issues on the day.

The current location is still in effect however, a new location is being looked into which is about 2-5 minutes down the road from Montague Street, meaning it won't be too inconvenient for those who're already there.

As always, keep checking back here for updates or look out for any changes to the event page on FB for more information. The first post will be updated to reflect the date change

Hope those of you who couldn't make it will now be able to with the new date :)

Hopefully the new meet date is when you're back in Melbourne. If not, definitely at the next one :D

That map coming off the west gate is wrong, you get off at the montague exit and can turn right you dont need to do that s shaped route

Forecast for Saturday is 12 and showers. The multi-level might be the better bet?
