I'd like to get a few dings removed by someone that does paintless dent removal. I've only contacted PDRTek, here's the response:

Thank you for considering PDR TEK paintless dent repairs for your paintless dent repair needs. As you can appreciate every dent is unique in it's shape, size and depth. Rough cost's to repair the smallest dents start around $60 and go up from there. If you have a few small dents on the same panel I do discount to do all the dents on the one panel i.e. $100 for 3 small dents.

If you are able to organise a few of your friends to get dents repaired I am happy to offer you guys a further 15% off the quote once I see the dents and can supply you with a firm quote.

Is anyone interested in doing a group dent removal day? This should be very affordable for everyone if we do it all together.

Body dents - i.e. small shopping trolley incidents which haven't scratched, but left a ding.

oo i have like one of them.. at the very top of my read left door.. dont know how i got it tho. when u look down along the car.. therse a dimple.. :S

i got my car brand new at the start of last month, dont know how i got that dent :S

So it's brand new and you already have a dent and a ton of swirl marks and scratches to your headlights? You're not using sandpaper to wash the car right? Heh-heh.

I guess it depends on whether you bought a demo model or the dealer was just crappy at maintaining the cars.

A couple of years back, when I went to pick up my new MY05 GT, it had rained that day so there was a couple of wet spots on the car. So while I was signing the final paperwork, I came out to find the sales person taking it upon himself to 'buff' up the car with a dry chamois. The surface only had a few wet spots here and there, but definitely not enough to run a dry anything through it. Idiot!

When I got home I found some nice spider web scratches on it, and had to run through it with some polish.

haha yeah i know! my mum thinks my car is cursed.. heres how it began

1. picked up form dealer, wasnt exactly clean.. but satisfactory
2. next day take a girl out for lunch to come back and find that someone had rammed a shopping trolley into the back.. leaves massive scratches
3. melbourne has big storms.. branch falls on my car at uni (day after shopping trolley)
4. few days later driving to cousins house, get a stone into windscreen, leaves small crack
5. A week later heading to mates house and started to notice windscreen crack growing
6. Starting to notice small scratches here and there, a dent or two and a few more scratches at the back. Windscreen crack now nearly spans half the car.

And yeah.. I think its save to say my car isnt a good luck charm ey?

Went to Dent Perfection in Castle Hill, cost $80.

No painting, just manipulating and buffing.

If you see how they do the dent removal, doesn't look that hard.

I was half inclined to buy a few of the tools they use and give it a go

So do you keep it extremely dirty to hide all the scratches? And yes, that is cursed. Poor some holy water on the bonnet and see if it screams in pain.

Yeah, dent specialists are a good way to go, especially if the dent has little to no paint damage.

Someone who is very good at their job makes it look easy.
Unfortunately, it can be much more expensive to fix once the amateur has had a crack at it himself!
