Hi guys, I'm new here and am from South East Melbourne

I'm red P-Plater and love anything to do with Subaru

I read about the P-Plater cruise that happened a few months ago and am very interested in meeting fellow Subaru Lovers

Does anyone want to go for a cruise or meet-up or gathering on the Saturday 16th November?

I'm keen to meet people and their vehicles

Ideas are welcome, and the date can be flexible, I just picked this one because it suits me well

Great! Thats the issue, I don't know of any good spots to meet. I was kind of hoping that someone would be able to make a suggestion of somewhere that has been used in the past or somewhere new that would be suitable.

I was intending that this meet was going to be open to anyone interested (I was just saying that I read the P-Plate cruise thread, wasn't trying to make this a P-Plate only event)

Kmart Burwood carpark (Burwood Hwy) out the back is probably one of the most popular for people in the S/SE suburbs.
Otherwise, Hogs Breath at Chadstone (cnr Warrigal Rd & Waverley Rd), or the Carlovers carwash (cnr Sevenoaks Rd & Burwood Hwy, Burwood East)

Basically anywhere with a lit open carpark - even Bunnings, Ikea, etc - and preferably somewhere near a freeway for those coming from the other side of town (which is why Hogs Breath is good- right next to Chadstone onramp/offramp for Monash Fwy)

Also you might want to specify if this is just a stand around and chat and/or a cruise.

I'm interested as long as my car isn't in for a service over this weekend. Last time we had a small cruise we met up at Hog's for lunch and they took about an hour to actually serve food. Is this normal or were we just there on a bad day? Either way, I'd rather not sit around waiting for an hour unecessarily. Car park there is still a great meetup place though no doubt.

Edit: Might want to post this on FB as well since most of us (P-platers) are on there more frequently than here.

Ah that sucks, basically only 2 of us confirmed for today so we decided to give it a miss since everyone else said they're good for next week. Might give it a shot tomorrow... but that'll probably be on a whim if we decide to do so.
