Yeah like I mentioned I'm local anyway: just around the corner ;)

I borrowed straight shears for the day too...

If we need power for heat gun etc (anyone got one?) we can reconvene at my place ;)

What an epic day! Adam (naccs) and I flat out from 10.30-6.30 :P
We got both front doors done and Adam got his sub install sorted, and rear parcel shelf resomatted and I insulated all the wiring in and resomatted my tailgate ;).
Massive thanks to Dave dle who showed us the right way to get those doors done.
We settled on 75% outer skin coverage and covered all service apertures on the inner door.
Since Adam and I have postFLs we elected to keep and reattach the plastic skin and foam inner liners for a factory finish.
Big thanks to jonno for the extra help and Maurice for the chats and lift :)

Great results: almost makes my zorst bearable, can really hear the music now: awesome!

Fantastic! Such a shame I couldn't make it. Thank the %#+@$& in Croydon Hills who we had an 8 hour siege with.
BBB I will be calling upon your expertise and help for my front doors!

Need a full day on it and one big pack is heaps for four doors and more ;)

A major bonus I experienced was checking the electric window mech bolts.
My drivers window was clunking when operated: it was a just loose bolt WOOT :)

I know I probably shouldn't ask, but I can't help but think why did it take 8 hours if all he had was a machete?

He had a little more than just a machete, and there were other factors involved, but regardless, that's just the way we have to work nowadays. We have to do everything we can to try to negotiate a peaceful resolution, however long that takes. Using force is a last resort. Not the way we would like to work but unfortunately we have to follow orders!

Also did some sort of cover up happen? I can't seem to find any news reports for it on the web despite it being on 6 o'clock news yesterday

Where do you want to do your install Mick? And what bits of the car?
What size Resomat do you have?
Gotta do that rear parcel shelf too ;)

Big thanks to Benny and David for their help!
I've noticed a big improvement and love the sounds the door makes when I shut it hard.
I'll meet up and do the rear doors when you guys are doing it again.
