If anyone is down that way this weekend, I'm running the MGA in the MSCA event at Phillip Island Raceway this coming Sunday.
There are about 50 cars from the MG car club running (in a field of 120 cars), as it has been made part of our competition series.
It's free entry for anyone who wants to wander down for a look. :)

Oh dear! Sunday is the Sandown 500. You are facing some stiff competition there Ric. Although I could just record the 500 and watch later! I will see what the weather throws up on Sunday morning.

What time do the gates open and what time is your event?

There are five groups, and each group will get at least four 15 minute runs. I am in "Group 4".
First timed run is at 9:45. They will give each group two runs, then there will be a 30 minute lunch break at about 1pm, then runs from 1:30 to 4:30.

Well I'm home, and without bending the car this time! :D
Someone else had a damn good try at taking me out on turn one. I was passing them on the inside (theywere dog slow on the corners), and they turned in on me, assuming I was still way behind them.

That's a damn fast track. Even though I had 36 psi in the tyres, I was still getting a lot of tyre roll on the front. At least I got to use a fair chunk of the sidwall, not just the tread! ;)

Wow. You were really trying! Did not make a good start to the day, so unable to make it. Looks like it would have been a good day.
