Turned out to be quite a good day! And close to 100 cars doing the run. Here is a sample:

A large variety of cars/drivers, even one wearing L plates! Teach em young, like my mum did for me.

I was about to give Mark a guided tour, when the starter asked me to fill in for a while so he could duck off to the loo.

It was so much fun, the track felt different every time we got a run as you got more familiar with it. Big thanks to all the organisers and everybody involved, hope to come back for another day in the future

No more video. It was a spur of the moment thought using my phone and compiled with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11.

Next time, I should take my GoPro and mount it to the top of some cars for some good action clips! Would love to have one from one of the Lotus.

Update. We have now scheduled the next "Come and Try day" at Rob Roy.
It will be on Sunday Sep-8 2013.
Once again, it will be $25 entry fee, and another $25 for a one day CAMS licence if you don't already have one.
The only requirements are a crash helmet, and a fire extinguisher in your car.
The WRX club sell one that bolts onto your seat mounts. The first to ask can borrow mine for the day.
