Melbourne: Where do you get your Liberty serviced?

Melbourne: Where do you get your Liberty serviced?

Postby tkdbboy » Mon Aug 06, 2012 3:34 pm

Hey guys,

Going for my first service of owning the Liberty STi.

Just wondering where you guys would recommend in Melbourne (preferably Eastern Suburbs) to get your Liberty Serviced?

Also if you've had any bad experiences with places do share.

Thanks!

btw wasn't sure exactly what section to ask this question so if there's a more suitable area, mods please move it :)

Probably better off getting Ric to move this to the vic forum.

You should try cromwood auto in burwood. They are very good and well priced.

1+ to Cromwood - Ross is a top guy and knows his Subaru's inside out.

Might need to check this place out!

I've always gotten mine from Lei at DR Concepts

Same! I've been going to Ross for almost 10 years, that man knows his Subaru's inside and out... like a cavity search.

I don't recommend URD in Wantirna

Had issue with them when they were doing my conversion on my B4 liberty
long story short
promised 2 days - ended up being 4 weeks (first week was due to the 2nd person being sick so I don't blame them)
car didn't finish when I decide to take it back after 4 weeks
Told me I need a new power steering pump (charged $$$) for it because the silicon intake didn't fit
Silicon intake fitted by me without issue and without the new(recondition) pump
Asked them I wanted my car service at the same time as the conversion, because the 2nd person was sick he told my he did the service on the first week. After I took it home, oil was old and brown
Took it to them because they said that they had done this a few times, after I picked the car up, he said he'll never doing it again
list goes on...

my friend took his sti there once to get the exhaust installed, they snapped a bolt where the turbo/dump pipe join and just left it there

A handy thread!

Docklands STi because the cars service book is 100% full of their stamps thanks to the previous owner.

After 200K maybe I'll shop around ^^^
