Saturday August 25, 10am to 2pm:
Cavalcade of Transport through the Ballarat city centre to a lunch stop. This event will be restricted to historic road registered or historic vehicles that make use of Vicroads club permit plates. Drivers and cars must conform to the road traffic laws of the day.

Wednesday Evening August 29, 5 to 8pm:
Mayoral welcome and media function for those dignitaries; sponsors; officials; and competitors involved in the 2012 festival.

The owners of a significant number of historic racing cars, sports cars and motorcycles have offered their vehicles for display on the night. These will then become the basis of a significant motor show that will include a full house of rare vehicles that will be accessible for public viewing from Thursday to Saturday at the Mining Exchange. The theme for the 2012 Motor Show will feature "The Art Deco Influence on Motoring".

Thursday August 30, 10am to 6pm:
Day 1 of the Motor Show in conjunction with a Memorabilia Display and Sales of some 400 items including motoring books; model steam engines; miniature internal combustion engines and "Tether Cars" at the Mining Exchange, Lydiard Street. "

Friday August 31, 10am to 6pm:
Day 2 of the Motor Show and Memorabilia Display & Sales at the Mining Exchange, Lydiard Street.

Saturday September 1, 10am - 5pm:
A Show and Shine at the Polo Crosse facility adjacent to the Airfield involving the judging and identification of the best vehicles in several classes including Pre - WW2 racing cars; sports cars; and motorcycles; and Post - WW2 racing cars; sports cars; touring cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles with individual trophies being awarded to each of the Class winners and the overall outright winning car, motorcycle and commercial.

Enthusiasts with a pre 1990 vehicle are eligible to enter. Entry forms will be available from July 1, 2012 via this website.
Spectators welcome and signage will be in place for Parking.

Saturday Evening September 1:
A Formal Reunion Dinner with a focus on those involved in the Ballarat airfield based events of the 1946 - 61 period, including a Guest Speaker.

Sunday September 2 Fathers Day, 10am - 5pm:
By popular request, more speed events on the old airstrip including proposed circuit parade laps; standing start timed super sprints; and a regularity based event involving CAMS certified historic racing and sports cars.
