Yeah, mine will be a bit grubby too. :)
We're just about to head off. See you there.

(I think I've left the stickers at work. I will have the number plate surrounds though)

Great day here too. Worked till 3:00am, woke at 8:00am to start again and am still working. Should be here till at least 8:00pm. And to top it off a 5:00am start, if I don't get called earlier.

Highlight was a 10 minute walk for fresh air and the 4 cups of peppermint tea.

Bewdiful....

Wish I could have gone. It looked like a fantastic day, looking out the window.

Any pics?

That was a pretty good drive :D

I just posted some photos at viewtopic.php?f=11&t=15975

I was exhausted after that. Got home about 5, and just had a nap on the bed till the 6pm news came on ;)

420 kms, I'm not surprised! Thank you all for a great day out. Special thanks to Mark for reconnoitring the route (and lending me a CB) and to Ric for his guidance and organisational skills. I look forward to the next one! I will also try to post a few photos when time permits. :D
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Until Mark posts the GoPro vid from today, here's the one he made several weeks ago to give you a taste of the road.

Note, we were much later in the morning, so the sun wasn't a problem at all.

Glad everyone had a good day.

Will have to organise another one soon. Maybe some time after the dyno day in May?

Sorry for the delay in posting up a video, but when I sat down to start the editor, ye ol blue screen of death popped up. Been in maintenance mode most of last night and getting normal email and internet now. I will try again this morning after I go thru the nausea of re-installing lots of patches. One day I will create that mirror image that has been on the to do list for , um, years! Doh!

Change of heart? I thought you indicated a preference to mod than cruise? Maybe, you could cruise over to the car wash and make me a coffee? Speaking of which, after the cruise, I will be going to the car wash today. Which one? Hope the coffee's good.

I am planning to do the Alpine route (2 days) in April. The Bogong View Motor Inn motel manager in Bright has deferred my room booking over to April as long as I book same level of room at that time. Sounds like a good bloke. And much better to deal with than the money mongrels at WOTIF. Just have to find a clear weekend. Probably after the school holidays, so potentially 21/22 Apr or 28/29 Apr. I will create a new thread with the details. Will also run this road again as one of the legs if anyone who missed out (Egg?) wants to tag along.

Oh goodness! That sounds genuine! I was saying off hand to the guys that your no show was probably a morning after recovery. Hope it ends well.
