I guess all the paintless dent removal guys are going to be flat out for the next few weeks.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm prepared to wait until I can get a good job done...

I've used Matt from DentSmart recently. He didn't go chasing the last lot of hail storm work so was able to take me on as a new customer. Not sure if he "services" your area, as he's lives in the Elsternwick/Prahran area.
I had a number of dents removed by him for under $300, and am happy with the results.

After last years hail, guy at work with a 9 month old forrester got damage all over, in the double skin areas (roof ede etc). They wrote it off, replaced with BRAND NEW, and only the rest of the lease to pay. So if you have anything properly insured less than 1 year old, go for write off and replacement!!!

I take it u can feel the scratch if u put your finger nail in it? If so its paint shop.... Some might paint the door only but the color may not match at the edges, they would most likely want to blend. U could get some touch up paint that will take the eye off it, that's about all u can do really, u can get spot repairs done but they don't look all that crash hot

Finally got a replacement for the hail damaged Polo.
Not a very god run with 2 written off cars this year for me. But at least we have a brand new Candy White GTI. No complaints here.
