Cruise Aug 7. Bundoora Flowerdale Yea Castella Greensborough

Sunday, August 7th, starting at the Kingsbury McDonalds in Plenty Road (cnr Dunne St and Plenty Road).

Cruise starts at 8AM, then make our way to Yea for morning tea. then back to Yarra Glen and across to Greensborough. Should be there around midday, depending how long we spend in Yea.

I think you missed the Humevale twisty section from my original map. I was going to do a route check, specifically of the Humevale section before we lock it in. Happy to take any feedback from others who have done that section before locking it in to our cruise.

Went for a trial run this morning. Two legs need to change. The Skyline Road from Yarra Glen is gravel. Apparently, that is a no no for most of you, but I had some fun this morning! This leg I will modify on the map to remain on the C726 all the way from Yarra Glen to Kangaroo Ground.

The second leg that I will change is the twisty bit through Humevale. It is sealed, but very narrow with no lane marking. The tarmac is also very rough. I am going to change this back to remain on the normal Whittlesea to Yea Road so we can have a more relaxed cruise.

I have cut the Humevale section out as it is too narrow and no lane marking. I have also cut the Skyline Road out due to gravel. You may need to refer to my updated link in the original post.
