Melbourne Liberty dyno day - Saturday 08 Oct

Melbourne Liberty dyno day - Saturday 08 Oct

Postby MH3.0R » Tue Jul 19, 2011 4:38 pm

Confirmed Dyno day at Springy Motors.
Location 58 Smith Road, Springvale.
Minimum number: 8
Maximum number: 20-25 (1st 20 guaranteed, next 5 on the Reserve List).
Date: Saturday 08 Oct.
Start Time: 10:00 AM (about 4 vehicles per hour)
Price per vehicle: $55.00 (Cash or Card on the Day)
Price Includes (driver only): 2 dyno runs, 1 printed standard graph, 1 sausage sizzle and soft drink
Price per spectator: $0.00 (but can direct purchase sausage sizzle / soft drinks)

Ok, last minute instructions!

Dropped in to see Danny at Springy Motors late Friday arvo, and he would like the first vehicles to show up not earlier than 9.45 am for a 10.00 am start. I would suggest the first two on the list to turn up around 9.50 to 9.55 am.

He will queue two cars at most in the driveway of the workshop and he will drive them on and off the dyno. All other cars to park in Smiths Road. There will be some under cover seating available for members and spectators, but given our numbers, it would pay to BYO chair.

BBQ will start firing up around 11am, classic sausage sizzle style, soft drinks also available. BYO booze is permitted, but I would encourage you to be very responsible and nominate a designated driver to avoid any issues later.

There will be a TV for viewing the dyno charts in real time for the members and spectators. The vehicle owner will also be permitted to observe his car on the dyno via a side window.

Any issues, call me (pm if you want my number), or post on this thread as I will have my netbook with me on the day.

Jake,

We all know the winner, it will be Gambit or Jaydece. They have monsters under their bonnets!

Good idea, but we are all waiting for you to organise it!

I will talk to HPF to see if they want to open up one Saturday or Sunday (BBQ, meet the tuner, etc). Might drum up some business for them as they are good with the GTs and now the 3.0R.

Kind Regards,

Mark.
