Cruise August 7th

Re: Diamond Creek - Kinglake - Healsville Cruise?

I'm going to take a drive with someone in a couple of weeks to sort out the cruise route before setting a date.

It's pretty much going to be no earlier than the 31st of July anyway, so don't get too excited. Probably will end up being early August I would guess.

I'll do a poll of course when I have the route sorted.

Ok, got my other activities sorted, so I will be along.

Must have a good car park and coffee / breakfast at the starting point, and at least one good spot for a photo op for lunch.

Sunday is better for me.

I'm interested in coming, as long as I'm not working that is. Will keep an eye on the thread to see when a date is set.

Thanx for organising!

Change of plans for me.
I'm going to Europe for 6 weeks in a month so I'm not going to be taking part in this any more, but Ric will be sorting it out and I'm sure he will get back to you guys soon.

Have fun!

Ladies and Gents,

Due to Kieran's absence, I have volunteered to take over the organisation of this cruise. All those in favor say Aye! All those against say Nay!....... The Aye's have it.

Ok so now the democratic part is over, let's get to work.

I like Sunday's for cruising. Call it a religion, and like most, not negotiable. So, democratically, Sunday will be the day.

Now for the date. Well, I will not be available until the end of July at the earliest, but most likely in August. I will select a range of dates and then make an update.

If anyone has identified a good route map, send it to me or post it here for scrutiny so we can all bag your judgement....I mean cheer you on for such good work.

Kind Regards,

Mark.

Sounds good, i am a tentative at the moment, as i'll more than likely be at the snow, Sunday is a good day though.
If people don't mind i might organise a weeknight moonlight run in the first week of august.

Ok folks,

Sunday, August 7th, starting at the Kingsbury McDonalds in Plenty Road (cnr Dunne St and Plenty Road).

Cruise starts at 8AM, then make our way to Yea for morning tea. then back to Yarra Glen and across to Greensborough. Should be there around midday, depending how long we spend in Yea.

Map here: http://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?authu ... 9b5c9514f7

I will need to open a new thread in order to start registering attendance.

Kind Regards,

Mark.
