Sorry, can't make Sunday 16 Aug as have a family event out west. :( Also, have two broken toes on the left foot and need to keep the leg up a bit for the next couple of weeks. Hope you guys enjoy the recce and I will be there for the real event (hopefully with a good left foot, my braking foot in the auto).

But then again, with the bad news about the tune, maybe you want to consider delaying the recce? :D But I will understand if you don't :(

Not sure ATM - tune is out and I've got issues I need to sort out on my new house (and car). So not sure on the reccy Al. I'll buzz ya tomoz, or buzz me when you're free.

Were you guys talking this Friday night for drinks or???? I can't make tomorrow night - out for dinner with wifey and bubs. :D

I had three stress fractures from about 3 to 4 years ago (XC skiing) and 4 weeks ago, one of them broke completely, so I strapped the foot up and kept on doing stuff (work, cruise, etc), then last week, a second one broke completely and it hurt like hell, and swelled up to my knee!!! Well xrays reveal all and now I have a leg brace to nurse for 4 to 6 weeks. Better than a plaster cast as I can remove it at night and shower each day.

Count me in too. I'll have the seafood entree, followed by the chicken (with a nice sauvignon blanc, Marlborough region of NZ please) and a nice mud cake with fresh cream (pure double) and a flat white coffee with a fresh camembert and brie selection for afters! Nice of you to offer Steve !!! We can fill the wife in on all our stories :D .

I was thinking tonight for the drinks, but can pretty much make it any night, flexible.

Well I'm ready to go for drinkies tonight but I'll be there about 6-ish (finish at 5.30). I'll be checking again before I head off from workies to see who else will be stopping by and if I need to head there.
