YES I AGREE GO GLEN! (only cause I live in glen haw haw!)

But EG closed down ages ago, and are you referring to the carpark BEHIND where EG was or the car park to the side of it..Because if you're suggesting the carpark behind it.. It's suicide for anyone with a lowish car.. My mums van gets owned going up/down there.

But if you're referring to the one to the side of it then it's all good. I'm up for it.

Glen Waverley (The Glen) is good. It's 5 minutes drive from where I live, but I don't fancy a drive up to Sky High at night, if the Sky High I think referred to is the one up in Mt.Dandenong (that's the only one I know) and the gate close at 10PM. There are cafes and places to eat along the day, but be warned, after dark, Mt. Dandenong cruise also means lot's of bugs.

I have no clue where EG was once as well, I am new to the area. But I know Dan Murphy.

We'll figure it out. I need to get back into the photography side of things , with car shoots anyway, so I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Is May 10th too short notice for a photoshoot session?

Actually thinking of doing just a photoshoot, in a different location to EG - don't like the lighting there. Not too keen on a cruise.

Possibly Chadstone rooftop, or Deakin University/Monash University carpark.

i'm in. Will likely try and drag a friend from sydney along too. His my02 rs as well. The night run up the mountain, while very fun can be a dangerous run if people:
1: don't know the road or
2: aren't confident with night mountain drives.
That being said neither of those apply to me.

Speaking of MT Dandy.. if you're after a good run, go down mountain highway, all the way to the basin, and then take the road upto the mountain from there.. it's fairly narrow though, but nice twisties. I'd recommend doing it in the day first. I used to take my VR 4 up there all the time 8)

It ends up at the Mt Dandy tourist road again.. just near Olinda (or where Ms Marples is)

Melbourne Meet

Postby MH3.0R » Sat Apr 26, 2008 8:50 am

Hi guys,

Would be interested in a meet anywhere. The Glen or Mt Dandy are both good, but a better drive, and photos, will be had at Mt Dandy.

Do you make a full day of it, byo lunch & drinks, etc, or just a simple meet n greet and photo shoot?

Kind Regards,

Mark.
