So, we are getting close, just need to set a date and then start advertising!

Jake, if you edit your first post, that is a much better place to have confirmed participants and attendees (remember, there are two categories)

MY11 Jaguar XFS 3.0DTT 6AT White Saloon (Prepped for sale)

Joe,

We have nine confirmed at this point. The minimum is 15 for HPF. There will also be a maximum for the day. I will seek out those details from HPF through the week. At this point, I would say 1st people to confirm (and remain so) will get preference within the maximum number that can be done on the day. If we exceed 15, and then the maximum, then we will create a "reserve" list in case anyone pulls out last minute.

For those members who are inviting "others", please provide the details (vehicle and names) of your guests as confirmed or spectators.

We are planning for a date in early to mid October, either a Saturday or Sunday, so prospective dates are 01, 02, 08, 09, 15 or 16 October.

For the price of a dyno day run, you'd be silly not to put your stock car on the rollers for a run.

Its perfect for that base run to know what you have before you add a few mods and a tune and also at a much lower cost. ;)

I will be there.

If you need a few more cars I can ask the guys over at OzFoz. I am sure a few would be interested.

THERE"S BEEN A COUP !!!

Nah, not really. I am continuing with the coordination of this thread due to Jake's present workload, and happy to help out.

Status today:

HPF cannot do Sunday's so I have requested a quote from them for Saturday 01 Oct or Saturday 08 Oct. I have requested the following info:

1. Timing of the event (start and finish)
2. Minimum number 15 (confirmed)
3. Maximum number 25 (to be confirmed)
4. Price per vehicle (for those who do a dyno run)
5. Price per spectator/guest (for the sausage sizzle)
6. Payment method (I plan one payment by EFT/Credit Card on the day)
7. Any deposit required.

So, if there are others planning to obtain more quotes from other tuning houses, please use the same "spec" so we can compare apples with apples.

To facilitate payment to our selected tuner, I plan to make one EFT payment on the day, so I will be the guardian of your funds in advance (transfers to my bank account) or happy to meet up and take cash. I will update the 1st post with the "rules". I will not be out of pocket, nor will I gain from the exercise and I intend to make the books open as we go. Hope this does not offend anyone, but experience has taught me that putting ones money up front normally secures a good day for all and stops the tyre kickers messing us and the tuner up for numbers. Happy to take constructive criticism and consider alternative solutions.

Kind Regards,

Mark.
