Make sure you bed them in first. I recommend 10 hard stops from ~150-10kph back to back (find yourself a very empty strech of road you can back to back brake).

+1 Daz. Make sure you don't come to a complete stop though. As Craig has noted ~ 10kph...

Just a note for anyone thinking about bending the speed limit this weekend.
The TAC are running full page ads today, saying police are going to flood the top ten "road trauma" areas with
"booze and drug buses, police cars and motorcycles."

The ten areas listed are:
  • MELBOURNE
  • CASEY
  • DANDENONG
  • BRIMBANK
  • GEELONG
  • YARRA RANGES
  • KINGSTON
  • MORNINGTON PENINSULA
  • BOROONDARA
  • FRANKSTON

I agree. lol. With the apparent number of cops out, I highly doubt anyone will be willing to drive spiritedly. COME!

Hey Ric,

You havn't meet my kids.

They make the devils kids look like angels. I reackon if I leave the kids for 3 minutes in the back of my car the door trims will be pulled off. One thinks he's Megatron and the other believes he can do the stunts and tricks like the Tom and Jerry show.

Is it also the end of school holidays down there this weekend? Could explain the extra police presence. Would also mean heaps of people coming home to Melbourne from wherever they've been.

Doh! Makes the cruise a bit a 'walking on egg shells' type experience, especially if the coppers catch wind of us up there.

Yeh hope not the same result the last cruise i went on, they told all of us to pull over (mind u also 20+ cars) defect/EPA/drug/licence testing for all!
Passengers didn't miss out on the testing either. most of us were stuck for around 2hrs as they tested car by car, some longer as any major defect given they grounded the car (tow away job) and the defect list on most cars were pretty tame POD+FMIC, rims to wide, to low etc... any excuse to get the thing towed home, cops were loving it. 1 drive day i'll never 4get any time soon....
