How many are bringing their better halves?

Are the speeds kept relatively legal on these things or does it get a little out of hand sometimes?

Mine is coming.
We'll certainly be sticking to the speed limit. The aim is to enjoy the road, not get somewhere in a hurry. The sort of roads we're taking, you can have a lot of fun without speeding! :)

My sister's boyfriend Josh is tagging along again, he came on the first cruise we did.
No "slow down! slow down!" from him that's for sure. That was his GTR that I photoshopped
a couple of weeks ago.
Cheers

I'm useless at remembering a whole lot of names at once.
How about I pick up a box of name cards, and print username and real name on them?
I'm thinking of something like this: http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/pr ... es/AC90050

Image

If you're interested, PM me your real first name, and I'll print them before the day.

Edit. And your REGO plates too if you want.

I have wife and kids coming on the trip.

And Mr White knows, I only do the speed limit when I'm on a run with the family. ;-)

In all honesty tho, a lot of the speed limits on the roads are 80-100km anyway and that's generally more than enough for the roads and an interesting drive. There'll be a LOT of scenery to look at so it doesn't need to be all speed and apexes. ;-)

Also, to the organisers:

I was talking to a member of the MX5 club that recently did a run through there with ~20 cars and they had issues where they were clearing local bakeries, etc when they stopped in a town for food. While good for the business, this created a bit of ill feeling amongst some locals as these places were the only places to get some instant food.

Perhaps we should arrange our stop locations and call the local businesses to warn them the number of people coming so they can pre-cater to cope. ie: extra pies/pasties in the warmers/stock and some more staff for the peak hour or so we'll create.

Any cruise should always be guided by: Safely drive within YOUR means, respect the road rules and other users. Easy.

The idea of the weekend is to share a great drive in great cars with like minded people.

Hope you can join us on the day.

How many cars have we got now Ric?
