OK. The bigish bakery down near the railway end of the main St is the better one, if you're into baked goods.

For counter meals, you want the The Vic (which is a bit "poncy", but has more choice) or The Commercial (less choice, maybe a bit more value), but not that much between them.

Still not sure if I can make it. long story. Might know later.

Yeah, me too, unfortunately. I've just been given an opportunity to partially sort a personal matter that I've been waiting months for the opportunity to do.
But will make a better effort next time. Really want to meet everyone and talk about what everyone is doing to their Libs.

Looks like I'm out due to circumstances beyond my control :( Bit pissed off really, but hey.

I'll take comfort in knowing that there's some good corners for you guys on those roads.

Be careful on the last 2 km's of the Paris Ck Rd into Strath. The Bronze love's that spot.

I too am now out. Unfortunately at this stage in the game with 29 days to go until the wedding (  ?!?) forward planning is king, and I did not see revised plans until now :(
Plus, I still don't have my new tyres :(

Yes, I'm out, too, sorry.

Look forward to the pics. I used to live at Maccy so know the amended route well - it's a great drive. Consider the pub or the Three Brothers Arms at Maccy as other options, too although both have gone a bit trendy these days - gone are the days of the pub publican being drunk and shirtless (not a pretty sight) while serving behind the bar.

Cheers,

bj

So it was a no go all together? :( Sorry man - would have loved a good drive, but was busy, and between tyres and wheel alignment issues the shudder at 60km/h is driving me insane, let alone what it's like at 80 - 100 and with more spirited driving. Tyres should be in on Tuesday hopefully, then I can get that fixed and start saving for the brakes...
