I'm back at it.

It seemed everybody enjoyed the last meet so why not repeat.

I have had a suggestion of 10 pin bowling, this would mean that there is no dinner included (however the center I'm looking at has cafe seating for 25 people if interested)

I like the idea, however am unsure of other peoples interest level in bowling, so therefore I suggest a vote between bowling, and a dinner. The poll closes after 7 days, so make your choice fast!

After the poll closes I will refine the details of the meetup in this thread

Dinner it is, 7PM on Tuesday.

I had thought that we could try Coopers Ale House. I've had a parmy there before and it was amazing!

Since i was the one to suggest bowling, i have voted with.................................................................... BOWLING!


Keeping in mind that a place like Cross Road bowl, has places to eat close to it. So for those interested, we could meet there separately if not everybody wanted to meet for dinner beforehand! Luckily (since i always miss the Sunday cruises), Tuesday and Thursday nights are my only free nights during the week!

I voted dinner, simply because bowling (like golf! LOL) presents some practical difficulties for me. More than happy to tag along with whatever and socialise though

Yeah, with the weight of a bowling ball, unfortunately I need to use my crutches (well at least one thereof, leaving the other hand free for the ball) to balance, and I end up twisting around that when I bowl, which means 90% of the time I gutter ball. The alternative is to use one of those ramp thingies and that almost entirely defeats the purpose in my view. I might as well be playing Wii Bowling or something

For those interested in the monetary side of things, Thursday nights after 7pm Cross Road bowl run a deal of 3 games for $15. 3 games will probably be too many between us, but we can always walk when necessary....That'll of course rule out the option for this date (being a Tuesday), but we can always use the idea another time. Pretty cheap entertainment really..

I voted bowling but I agree that 3 games will be too many only coz it will take too long 2 games when u have 5 on a lane takes close to 2 hours sometimes I'm totally up for this one if it goes ahead!
