Hope it's not wet :(. Yea Benny you can come in mine if you can convince Liam to drive his car. I don't really want to lead this one. Have lead the last two.

Thanks man, however... assuming all goes smoothly I'll be picking mine up on either Wednesday or Thursday night :D :D :D :D :D

I won't be able to keep up with you still, and I'll be taking it easy while I'm still getting used to it, but I shall be driving my car :D

I don't mind it being wet... my car will be living outside anyways, but not getting detailed until Hamish gets back (unless Taylor has time - hahahahaha - the reason I just went with Hamish by default ;)) so I have no idea what it's got on it at the moment.

Ben and I are. He just got his new car. Also I want a day off, which it isn't cos I'm still working before the cruise.

And it'll be good to be able to just take it easy, stop at good photo spots not when we lose people.

What time do you want to leave your place on Sunday Karl? I forgot to ask.

Taylor - I'd give it to you Saturday so it could be all shiny for Sunday, but it's my housemates birthday and I've already volunteered myself as deso. The other complicating factor is, the insurance I have at the moment won't cover anyone who is under 30 who isn't on the policy, so a bit hard to leave it with someone. I can add and remove people from the policy as needed, but from what I've heard you'll probably have a similar impact on my premiums as Karl would ;) (not that I mind for a one month period so I can get stuff done to it!)

Ben - is there not an exemption for mechanics in your policy? Also, mechanics usually have their own policies anyway - I'm buggered if I would want my no claim bonus screwed up by some apprentice mechanic who decides to hammer the car a little. It is not unusual to have the apprentice take the car for a spin after a service to have a listen for things or to take the car to another service provider to get some specialist thing done.

Actually, on that, I remember a guy I used to work for who had a 5-series JPS BMW. It was run into a tree on Light Square by an apprentice when he was taking it for a wheel alignment or something. My boss paid nothing as it was all covered by the mechanic's insurance - the boss was not happy all the same.

I'm sure Taylor and Karl have insurance to cover such things....don't you guys? Guys?

cheers,

bj

I doubt they're that far along with getting things up and running yet... the insurance on my Gen3 covers anyone driving it (with the excess adjusting appropriately for age/experience), so I'd never bothered.
