That's the spot I was aiming for... if you do a search on Google Maps it puts it randomly outside a house a bit further down the road though... crazy Northerners

Meet here, at point B on this map or wherever there's lots of free space in this area :)

Target car park. :) can't miss it. It's stupidly big. Huge Target sign in the air etc.

Maps are all printed and stapled with written directions. We are good to go :D.

I also have a little surpise for us all... I invested in a littl set of something for the club.

Thanks for organising this Taylor.

Sorry I hijacked it by leading all those behind me astray. I missed Deviation Rd.

Hope you all got to lunch.

Thanks (and sorry) again,

Michael.

Yeah thanks Taylor, a very good route. Great fun, especially sideways trying to keep up with Karl on the way back down :P

Ditto to all the above - looking forward to the next one :)

I got lost coming out of Lofty (I turned right and went along that really narrow windy bit, behind a Mazda that wouldn't go any faster than 30 :() but managed to get back on track and get back to Newton - so despite not keeping up for the most of it, it was a fun route and a good day :)

Deviation Rd made me start thinking about that brake upgrade again :( LOL

Muahahhahahaha! An amazing vehicle to drive. It does all the hard work for you. Not too keen on using manual shifting in it, it would get a bit silly then haha. Like Taylor driving it!

Cheers guys,

Had a great day all round. It was also good to finally put some faces and cars to names.

Thanks to Taylor for the route (that almost sounds crude) and to Michael for adding some interest to it. I know what it's like leading a group along a road that you're not all that familiar with and it's never easy. Thanks, too, to Michael for sticking with me on my limp into Crafers (if doing 110 along some of those roads is limping....). Still don't know what happened. I'll keep an eye on my oil usage (which I do, anyway) and see what happens.

And cheers to the rest of you because it's the whole group that makes these things fun.

Oh - and the radios were fun, too - gave us a good laugh listening in to you guys.

Look forward to the pics and the video.

cheers,

bj
