Certainly was good fun, wished we'd had more free road to push it, that's the real fun of a cruise!

Can't wait for the next one!

Haha yeah, I'm a little softy around the corners ever since I slid into a guard rail. :D

The old B4 still boosts hard on the straights though. ;)

Looks like a reasonable turnout, especially given the weather. Did you guys end up taking the route I sent to Hamish? Hope you enjoyed - Norton Summit - Lobethal is one of my fav roads, but best done after 11pm when the roads are traffic free

Good to put a few faces to names. I enjoyed myself, despite being quite tipsy still most of the way to Lobethal! :P Like Hamish said, if it wasn't for the MX5's on the way up and the two bikes on the way back, we might've been able to have even a bit more fun! :) You'll always catch some dickhead though, it's always the way!

Gorge road was good fun on the way back. I'm glad i stayed at the back because like Tom said, after you have an altercation with a guard rail or tree or something similar, you never quiiiite get all your confidence back! :P

Cheers for posting up the pics guys, i'll post some up when i get home from work today.

@ Hotwire: We more or less tried to follow the route you sent Hamish, but we pretty much just followed Greenhill road to Lobethal. Skipped corkscrew on the way back and just went straight down Gorge into the East end of the city. tkboi was leading and had NO IDEA where he was goin (:P joking mate). Either way, it worked out well and was a pretty good run of all roads. We know not to let MX5's through next time! :P

Cheers guys, do it again soon with a bit more of an idea where our endpoint will be! :P (I split off to go get the gf and tooted and then 4 followed me  Sorry about that boys...)

Mmm i thought that too but i dunno, we just did! :P We got a good run down Gorge though so that was alright. I don't think a few of us had the brakes for corkscrew downhill! :P :P

Hahah ohhhh yeah whatever, blame the gf!! :P I agree, but i like Gorge every now and then to mix it up a bit as well. It's nice to have some looong sweeping bends at a bit of a speed as well. Try and incorporate both Gorge and Corkscrew next time i think :) So long as we go down Corkscrew. I don't think us N/A 2.5i's will stand a change heading UP! :P

I liked gorge the most. I don't test myself in tight turns, had too many close calls, and a mate almost drove me off a cliff, a wooden post stopped us. :s

well hamish if you up for it, me and michael exchange details and we probably go for a run around windy point/crafers/mt lofty but this would probably have to be a weekday night time event as not much cars, so if you guys want to organise another cruise pm me, but remind you these roads are alot smaller and the room for error is literally none
