Cruise with little to no notice

High there

As we usually do best, a few of us have decided to organise a cruise with very little notice. Sozlol.

This is the cruise route. Only a shortish one at 2h21mins.

We will be meeting at the BP at Blacksoil- westbound (it's about 500m east of the Esk turnoff) at around 8am. Whatever's clever, really. Though we'll look at leaving by 9 at the latest. Trying to remain flexible given the lack of notice.

Somerset Dam is roughly an hour away, so we will find somewhere there to pull up for smoko and shit chatting. Mt Mee is a further hour so we can stop there for smoko and refreshments and possibly a chance to take photos. Although, from memory, the car park isn't the biggest so that could turn into a logistical nightmare. I figure in that case we could head on down to Dayboro and maybe stop in at the show grounds for a photoshoot. Assuming it's not too busy.

I apologise for the late notice, I don't frequent this place like I used to. There are plans in place for another cruise further down the track. One that will likely take us over the border and suck down a tank of juice. But once we get a better idea of what that one will entail, we will post it up here giving ourselves plenty of time to prepare.

Thus far, the list of attendees is as follows:-

FB:
Denski (that's me!)
Oakesea
Crampus
Dru
Benjo
CraigD
Dangry (hasn't confirmed attendance to FB event, but talk of the town is he is coming along)
El Beardo (again, hasn't confirmed but am certain he's keen for a drive)
Matthew Linnell (maybe)
Grug (maybe)

Fourrums:
nil

For what it is worth, there is a group on facey, an offshoot of club.lib if you will, that is dedicated to the goings on with club.lib cruises and other events within South East QLD. If you're interested in keeping up to date with what goes on there, search for Club Liberty SEQ.
