I managed to score a rare day off today, so i took the opportunity to pre-run the route through tamborine to binna-burra to check it out.

Binna burra might be out. I got halfway there and they had the road closed for works.
There's also two largish sections of roadworks on tambourine which slow things down a lot. One lot had me stopped for 10mins.

New proposed route is through beechmont. From there people can head off via Nerang, or we can push on to hinze dam, springbrook or wherever we choose in that direction.

Can anyone on the facebook page update us on attendees at all? Good job on doing your homework before the cruise too, Troy.

Yay for QLD weather!

Looks like we might have some rain tomorrow. I'm still keen as long as it's not a f'n monsoon.

What's everybody elses verdict?

Yeah, I'm still in. A bit of rain won't hurt. Have updated OP with attendees list.

Sweet.
Most of the FB guys are still in (other than the few listed above).

That sucks Dan. But money's money... Always handy at this time of year especially.

Was a good day despite the rain. How did the photos at the dam turn out?
