Downshift Circuit and Coffee

Downshift Circuit and Coffee

Postby kiahatsiu » Mon Apr 13, 2015 6:03 pm

Well, the Saturday the 18th of April sees another Downshift CnC. Basically $60 to beat mercilessly on you car at QR for 90 min, $20.00 for passengers.
Details can be found on the Downshift facebook page. Basically, come out on the track, find some similarly paced cars and have roll on races with them. All the excitement of late night highway runs without the police and convictions.

Also, feel free to flag me down and jump in the wagon for a few laps.

Think I might actually go along to this one. Anyone else want to come and represent Team Liberty?

Can't disagree there. And it is pretty damn early! Come to think of it, will the sun even be up at 6am out there?

Google Maps tells me QR is actually pretty comfortably closer to Brisbane, which surprises me too. Regardless, I've decided I'm definitely going Saturday morning dark or not as I have been itching to give the car some stick for ages.

If anyone else is interested let me know and maybe we can meet up and cruise there together.

I'm tempted to go, but I've never been to anything like this before so I'm a bit tentative (Only been driving a year ). Plus my lib is n/a so it'd be a bit of a slug around the track
