Gates open at 4pm with runs commencing at 4:30. It costs 45 dollars to enter, which includes a plus one. Drivers are required to have an approved helmet and a long sleeve shirt and jeans, or if you are a true Western suburbs renascence man, a track suit.
At this stage the boffins at the met department say it will be a top of 31 degrees (so add a few for the West of Brisbane) with a 20% chance of a shower. So not too bad.
You can even bring a mate, let them pay $20.00 and they can sit in the passenger seat and make your car slower!
